First off let me say I've been using famous Japanese brand embroidery machines for over 25 years now. I was completely set on never changing from those. However, once the new Fortever Embroidery machines came into the shop they immediately caught my attention. I could not believe how nice they looked and how sturdy the frame was. I thought there was no way a machine like this could be priced so affordably. This is an industrial embroidery machine. Next step was to do some runs on it and test it out. The first thing I was impressed with was the user interface. It was so easy to navigate and so simple I was up and running in under 30 seconds. The next thing that impressed me was the quality of the stitching. Literally not a thread breaks and the designs looked crisp and sharp and tight. No thread looping at all. Basically, sewing perfectly. Just as good as a famous Japanese brand embroidery machine if not better. I ran the new 4-head Fortever machine at an Imprint show. From 9 am to 3 pm, the machine did not stop for a broken thread one single time. The only time it stopped was to change the bobbins. I have never seen that before, no thread breaks. And this was sewing on hats mind you. Which is another great thing, is that these machines can do hats with no problems at all. Hats can be tricky as they are thicker in the middle. These machines do them with no problem and with no needle breaks. Even doing puff foam on the thickest hats there are, no problem at all. Back to the user interface. There are so many unique features on these machines. None of which are on famous Japanese brand embroidery machines. This is a big deal considering the machines are half the cost and you can do a lot more with them. The features make these machines ideal for patches, border frame sewing, hats, finished garments, cording, beading, laser cutting etc. The screens on the multi-head machines are nice and big and are touch screens making it very easy for the operator to see what is happening meaning less user error. I was also glad that they made them super easy to switch over from flats to hats. In this business time, everything is, and it's a breeze to switch it over and you're not having a lot of downtime. Another thing I noticed was how quiet they run. Multiple people say the same thing when they work in the shop. Even with 3 of them running, it was not loud at all. That was a big relief. I was completely stubborn in my way and stuck on famous Japanese brand embroidery machines and swore I would never switch. After running these for a few weeks, I went ahead and bought 3 of these machines. A 6 head, a 4 head and a single head. All for less than the cost of just a 6-head Tajima. So now I have more than doubled my production and am completing jobs faster for half of the cost. And finally, the whole process from ordering the machines to the installation was very easy. The team at Eurotex covers all areas of expertise, from the technicians doing the installation to the admin people. Very knowledgeable and helped with everything every step of the way. They helped me feel confident in my decision. The setup and installation were stress-free, and they made the transition smooth without slowing down my operations.
